Ontario LCBO stores will again be open widely on Mondays for the first time in a year.

“As the province continues to ease COVID-19 restrictions, the LCBO has updated our operating hours, including opening on Mondays,” an LCBO spokesperson said in a statement. “We continue to restrict capacity and hours in accordance with public health guidance across the province.”

The alcohol retailer was allowed to remain open throughout the pandemic but with restricted hours. Starting this week, some stores have also expanded their hours until 9 p.m. Store hours can be found at LCBO.com.

Most of the province has now moved to the colour-coded COVID-19 framework which allows most retailers to serve in-store customers with limits on capacity. Toronto, Peel and North Bay-Parry Sound remain under a stay-at-home order until at least Monday.

Another change coming to the LCBO is the end of its partnership with the Air Miles Reward Program.

Customers can continue to collect Air Miles through to March 31.

“Providing a rewarding, personalized experience continues to be a critical component of our strategy to deliver an engaging, integrated customer experience,” an LCBO statement says. “Details on a future loyalty program at the LCBO will be introduced in the coming months.”
